Our Story

Crescent Refrigeration was founded by Mr. Arun Gandhi, shaped by hard work, resilience, and an unwavering faith in the journey.

In 1996, Mr. Gandhi began his career as a marketing representative for two Mumbai-based manufacturers—one specialising in boilers and the other in chillers. The first year showed promise, but the following year brought an unexpected setback when commissions he had rightfully earned were withheld. Despite repeated follow-ups and months of waiting, the dues were never cleared.

After nearly three months without work, Mr. Gandhi chose not to give up. In 1998, with the full dedication and support of Mrs. Vandana Gandhi, Crescent Refrigeration was started. During this phase, Mr. Gandhi re-entered the industry through contract manufacturing, partnering with an established chiller manufacturer and supplying systems under his own name. This experience gave him deep technical exposure and strengthened his confidence to build something of his own.

With the unwavering support of his family, a major milestone was achieved on 1st May 2000, Labour Day, when Crescent Refrigeration established its own manufacturing unit. What began as a modest operation was driven by persistence, discipline, and an uncompromising commitment to quality. Over the years, Crescent Refrigeration grew into a trusted name in industrial refrigeration, serving critical industries across India and beyond. Every system delivered reflects the same values on which the company was built: integrity, consistency, and long-term reliability.

While Mr. Arun Gandhi focused on building the business and taking it to new heights, Mrs. Vandana Gandhi remained the foundation of Crescent Refrigeration, ensuring stability, discipline, and continuity. Even today, she continues to be the base and strength of our business. Mr. Gandhi often reflects that had those early setbacks not occurred, he might have remained a commission agent or dealer. But life had a larger plan. He has always believed that one must have faith in God, as His plan is far greater than what we can perceive. The dots only connect when you look back, and every challenge was part of a greater design.

Today, Crescent Refrigeration stands as a testament to that belief: Built through adversity, guided by integrity, strengthened by family, and driven by purpose.
